João Ramos is assistant researcher focusing on RESDAL´s Comparative Atlas in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the women, peace and security program . He holds a degree in International Relations from the Sao Paulo State University.

 

Prior to joining RESDAL, João worked in the Defence and International Security Studies Group, and carried out a research project in the fields of defence and security. He has also published material for the Observatory of Defence and Armed Forces in South America. João is particularly interested in the defence industries and industrial development in the region.
