USI Annual Forum 2025 | From the Global South

RESDAL invites audiences to follow online the 2025 UN USI Annual Forum, to be held in New Delhi on 23–24 October, under the theme:
 “Advancing Peace Operations and the Humanitarian Imperative in a Fragmented World.” 

The Forum will bring together UN officials, military and civilian experts, and representatives of international organizations to reflect on the current challenges of peace operations. 

🔹 Main Subthemes: 
●     Strengthening peacekeeping in a changing world order 

●     International Humanitarian Law and the humanitarian imperative 

●     Protection of civilians: responsibilities and dilemmas 

●     Gender diversity in peace and security 

●     Primacy of politics and conflict management 

Key speakers include Jean-Pierre Lacroix (UN), Kanta Singh (UN Women), Meher Dev (ICRC), JS Lidder, AK Bardalai, and Andrei Kozik, among other international experts.
